We are selling our bus. It is technically in great condition. It only has 64,000 kilometres on the clock and with its 163 hp diesel engine will be driving for a long time to come.
Why we sellWe are a family with a son (now 7 years old). We have been travelling in Scandinavia for the last three years. Since two years we have our own Farm in Sweden. What's more, two years ago we emigrated from Germany to Cyprus. Life is changing. And the bus no longer suits our way of travelling.
We have invested a lot of money. The vulnerable underbody in particular was completely renewed and protected against rust. There shouldn't be any problems in the next few years, technically it is in very good condition. And actually far too good to sell. But we are realists.
You can get on the bus and set off on your long-distance journey straight away!

- Sleeping places roof tent: 1 child, 2 adults. see information below.
- Bicycle carrier for up to four bicycles from Eurocarry for EUR 1,200 plus Lighting. Currently with two support arms. You can buy suitable ones from Thule for around EUR 25 each, depending on what you need. For example, we had the mini children's bike clamped between our adult bikes.
- Mobile shower: Kärcher OC3. That was enough for us to shower outdoors.
- Dry separation toilet from Kildwick, Model MiniLooNew price is around 500 EUR. It was ideal for us as we were mostly out in the countryside and didn't want any chemicals. I installed a new tank - so it's sparkling clean and like new. It has carrying handles and can easily be taken out of the car.
- Refrigerator
- Wash basin with fresh water canister (and the option of taking four more with you, each approx. 15 litres) and waste water canister (around 20 litres). Both are easily enough for one day. The canisters are new, I have replaced them.
- Plenty of storage space

- Two "actual" owners including me: see below
- Windows can be completely darkened all round with magnetic and thermal mats from project-camper.com. Value 700 EUR.
- Sliding window on the side sliding door and opposite. If you need mosquito protection, you can easily do this yourself with Velcro strips and a mosquito net, e.g. from Tesa.
- Roof rack with awning THULE Omnistor 5200: see below
- Swivelling driver and passenger seat
- Jack
- Gas cooker with two plates: Primus Alika Stove. I have installed an adapter from Campinggas, as there are smaller bottles, Europe-wide.
- Two camping chairs and camping table
- four Continental tyres with rims incl. ABE Invoice1 / Invoice2 for EUR 2,000, plus spare tyres (same model).
- For the boot as well as for the cupboards in the bus, I recommend Boxes from Auer. They are great for stowing away and are available in all sizes. I've left one in the boot for you to try out.
- Two sand boards to put underneath in case the bus gets stuck (never happened so far)
- Cable reel 25 metres with connections for camping or normal sockets
- Insulation through Isolena Sheep's wool mats (350 EUR), i.e. no chemicals that evaporate.
Diesel parking heater is from Autoterm and makes the bus really warm! I have this have it installed here. The thermostat (switch with display) of the diesel parking heater is currently not working. This wiring needs to be checked, it doesn't seem to be getting any power. In my opinion, this is the fault - but I haven't had time to check it myself. In the worst case scenario, a new diesel heater will cost 1,500 euros. But I don't think that's the case - this statement is not legally binding. But I would like to point this out honestly.
The bus is of course not new, the paintwork is 10 years old. There is a small dent on the sliding door, but this is only visual. You can have the paintwork refurbished for 300 euros and it will look like new again. I could have done it and sold it for EUR 2,000 more, but again, the issue of honesty - I don't want to "whitewash" anything, but show it realistically as it is.
The tablet we used for navigation is not included in the price: see information below.
The bus is ready to go - what you still need
The bus is ready for departure as it is. Technically flawless at the present time. MOT and AU done. However, you will still need the following things. Everyone likes it differently, but also for hygienic reasons.
- Towels, kitchen towels
- Plates, cutlery, cups
Cooking pots - Basic equipment such as salt, pepper, sponges and cloths
- Pillows and duvets, as well as sheets for the bottom and top of the bed. We didn't use fitted sheets for this, just normal ones.
- Tablet: we have always had an Apple tablet at the front of the dashboard between the driver and front passenger with navigation (Sygic) and parking space apps. The basic holder is from Brodit. You can mount a suitable Brodit holder for your mobile phone or tablet on the basic holder for around EUR 30. You can find a selection at Brodit.
Rust protection treatment
The underbody has been completely treated. There is no rust. Everything was taken apart and dismantled. The rust was rubbed off. And everything was sealed. In addition, openings were sealed and panelling was fitted in the wheel arches. The whole thing in the Total value of EUR 10,900. Carried out by the Frima Autoservice Kühnl in Laufach-Hain. You can download the detailed invoice here: PDF file
Electrics
The electrical system was designed by camperpower.com installed. You will receive all plans with your purchase.
The bus has a very large lithium-ion battery: BullTron LifePo4 12.8 Volt 280Ah MARATHON with Smart BMS 200A & Bluetooth App. This cost EUR 2,600. That's why I didn't install a solar panel in the end, as it was always enough for us even when we were stationary for several days (laptop, jukebox, fridge, etc.). However, it is not a problem to retrofit solar. The battery is charged while driving.
In the bus itself you have a multiple socket with which you can charge all your electrical devices (230V). There are also several USB charging sockets. There is also a connection to charge the battery from outside. The starter battery never runs flat.
Invoice 01 / Invoice 02
Roof rack and roof tent
The Roof rack is from alu-dachtraeger.de and has a value of EUR 1,100. There is a wind deflector at the front to prevent noise. It was important to us that the roof rack is stable and durable. You can see the invoice here: PDF file
The Hard shell roof tent is a Autohome Airtop 360 for just under EUR 4,000. It offers a wonderful view in all four directions. Opens quickly. To close it, you must first fold it down at the rear of the vehicle (note: leave the window openings slightly slit to allow air to escape). Then hook in. And then press down at the front. Set up in under a minute. Removal realistically around five minutes. I have the original Mattress (which was bad in my eyes despite the price) for a custom-made mattress (900 EUR). This has an antibacterial coating. There is a net underneath for dehumidification. Gives a great night's sleep 🙂
The Awning is a THULE Omnistor 5200 with the outer casing painted in the colour of the bus. Worth 800 EUR.
There is also an extendable Manager from Thule for 300 EUR.
Previous owner
There are four owners in total, although there are actually only two.
Owner 1The company that manages the vehicle fleet for customs and border protection in Bavaria. The bus was originally used there as a crew van.
Owner 2: the vehicle dealer who sold the bus from owner 1 to me (owner 3).
Owner 3: that's me.
Owner 4: this has been my brother since 2023 - as we no longer have a residence in Germany (moved to Cyprus).
Extras
You will receive the following in addition to the bus:
- a spare wheel, same model as the wheels already fitted
- Two sliding windows to replace the windows on the rear doors
- One panel of solar cells including module for mounting/connection to the on-board electrical system
Price
You get an honest bus here. I have prepared all the information for you to the best of my knowledge and belief, including the corresponding invoices. You buy the bus as it is, as a private purchase. We've invested a lot of money in it, but as I said, our travel behaviour has changed. And just letting it "stand around" is not good for a bus.
The price is: 44,500 EUR
As I'm hardly ever in Germany myself, my friend Jannis will guide you through the bus. I'll be happy to join you via video messenger. As the bus is registered to my brother (we live in Cyprus), he will sign the purchase contract.
